"Bloom" is a collection of prints on 210g Hahnemuhle cotton paper, in a limited edition printed under the impeccable care and execution of FanLab in Bogotá, Colombia and Fidelis Art Prints at their Vancouver studio.
This series merges the harsh reality of contemporary global conflicts with the delicate beauty of nature, highlighting the richness of migration in all its forms. Through digitally altered photographs, it evokes both the horrors present in places like the Middle East or Crimea, and the painful memories of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. However, amid the chaos, cherry blossoms emerge as symbols of hope and renewal, intertwining the ephemeral spring bloom with explosions of petals suspended in the air, inviting the viewer to contemplate the fragile beauty that endures even in the most adverse moments.
Edition of Prints (various dimensions • 78 x 39 inch /  39 x 39 inch / 20 x 20 inch ) using archival inks on cotton cold-press paper. Mounted on blond maple frames and high-quality Artglass AR70. (2023-2024)

The project evolves beyond static prints, embracing dynamic visual storytelling through a collection of videos that enhance and expand upon the narrative woven by the juxtapositions of blossoms and explosive transformations. Each video breathes life into the delicate blooms and explosive moments, adding an immersive dimension to the overall experience.
